Night Night Blessings
By Amy Parker
Published by Thomas Nelson
Night Night Blessings is a simple little book geared toward younger children.
Not too complicated for little ones to understand.
Not too long for their attention span.
Written in a first person, prayer format, the rhyming text describes various things to be thankful for. From the beginning of the day, with pancakes stacked high, to the twinkling stars as the day ends, there are so many things for which to thank God.
The illustrations are very well done. From wispy hair, to bold but subdued colors, the overall mood of the book provides a pleasant and calming effect for a sleepy little reader.
I would definitely recommend Night Night Blessings as a wonderful God-centered bedtime story.
