Zondervan’s NIV Grace and Truth Study Bible is produced through a project led by general editor Dr. R. Albert Mohler, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. As a result, the NIV Grace and Truth Study Bible is appropriate for those new to Bible study as well as the experienced student.

Study helps include:

  • in-depth study notes
  • a comprehensive NIV concordance
  • red-letter Words of Jesus
  • 16 pages of full-color Biblical maps
  • easy to access center-column cross references
  • bottom-of-the-page study notes

The typeface is set in Zondervan’s exclusive easy-to-read NIV Comfort Print®. The print size is 8-point for biblical text and 7-point for study notes. Although this print size is readable, and keeps the Bible small enough for personal use, it is a bit small for comfortable reading. The hardcover bound edition lies flat when open on a table or lap. Thus, it appears durable and able to withstand daily use. As an added bonus, each page of biblical text utilizes Scripture references located at the top outside edge of the page, aiding in quickly finding passage references.

Overall, I highly recommend this Bible for anyone seeking to enhance their Bible study time.
